I'm not sure what happens when a fugitive enters a country where there's no extradition treaty with the US. For instance, China; you'd think they'd be a little reluctant to harbor a fugitive, regardless of the circumstances. Anyway, back to the discussion...

WRAL just released an article detailing the search warrants involved in the case. Seems like detectives have more than enough evidence to put both of them away for good. The speculation is that she was killed in Grant's apartment in the bathroom. They have the paper trail of purchases she made related to the crime...I feel there's way more than enough to expose the stupidity of these two.

It also doesn't help that Grant was the last person to see her alive and she never met up with a friend she was supposed to meet in Cary right before she went missing. It's to the point of 'overtly blatant' and I'd go as far as to say when they released a statement that "they don't believe foul play was involved," it was probably just a ruse to not alert Grant to the police being onto him already...

Still speculation, but a lot of us thought all of this stuff was obvious from Day 1.

They never said "they don't believe foul play was involved," they said there was no evidence of foul play (at the time). That was prior to the body being found.

It really depends on the country, the crime committed, if the death penalty is on the table, and the political atmosphere between the two countries at the time.
