For starters, I think you and I are probably the only people who watched Perfect Couples (and would admit to it). It was definitely okay, but Happy Endings was a bajillion times better in every way.

Nick and Schmidt definitely carry this show.

I'm pretty much done with Coach though, if we get rid of him I think the show can rebound quickly

Nick and Schmidt are this show...and CeeCee is nice to look at. I like Zooey Deschanel, but her type of comedy gets old really fast. While I like Wayans, his comedy worked well with the blonde chick on Happy Endings...it doesn't work well by itself. And the other black dude has never been funny. His character fits in with the show, but it doesn't add anything.

^I feel pretty similar to that. I've been saying since last year that Zooey just bothers me. My wife doesn't understand it, but I'm not real sure if I've ever laughed at something she has said/done. Shes more annoying than funny. I like all of the guys...except Coach. Coach has made this show 10x worse.

Winston is just as ineffectual as Nick is, but he doesn't get the old-man crazy to make up for it. I don't mind Coach as a character, but he hasn't added that much to the group. Cece usually just plays straight man to the other folks' wackiness

Yea I'm not digging Coach nearly as much as I enjoyed Damon as Brad in Happy Endings. Not that he's bad, its just he isn't Brad and can't play that character with/against Jane.

I don't mind Zooey that much. She is sometimes funny. Obviously the main humor is brought by Nick and Schmidt. Winston can be alright, but isn't that great. Also what happened to Winston and the weird chick he went home with? They made a big deal out of that a few episodes back and then nothing. Guess it was a one-night stand situation?

I think Winston has gotten much better recently. He is pretty much just a placeholder when he is playing the straightman, but when they show off him being super wierd (the cat thing, hooking up with the crazy lady, etc), I've found him actually pretty funny

He's totally going with it. A while back he released a song called "Breakfast Can Wait," which was basically a callback to that skit.

Also, I loved Nick and Jess's reactions to Prince, especially the whole sequence with Jess getting coached.

Speaking of which, I think the Coach-Winston warm water thing worked pretty well
