After 15 minutes on the bench Zo's lore is greater than Kelly's

We need some Brown. However, I'm satisfied with the score at the half. Also, needs more Wood.

No zobo means the second half will be a war. Some really bad plays in that last minute because of no brown.

Tyler was barely in the game, no turnovers, and scored 3. Barely given a chance.

It's crazy how our transition game completely disappears when Zo isn't running the point. I know Virginia is making an effort to get back on defense, but Zo was at least pushing the pace

Lewis was 1/1 with no turnovers (or assists or anything else)

he didn't play bad, he just didn't play great

also at the half: Howell 6 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists

Will it be another tried-and-true 2nd half NC State meltdown? Stay tuned, ladies and gents!

coach probably took tyler out to go with a taller lineup and better playmaking ability in brown's absence.

Every possession Tyler led, we were out of sync, staring the offense way too high. He can't lead a transition break. He got 4 minutes, and purvis at point was a better situation all around.

part of it too with tyler is he's just not got the body to deal with the screens on defense, and the refs are letting UVA just hang on and drag all of our guys trying to cut in and move off the wings and tyler was just getting roughed up with the ball

Virginia's pace actually probably helps us with Brown's injury. Should limit the amount of substitutions we have to do, but we've got to play efficient half court offense.

With Tyler in our adjusted defensive efficiency rating is 32.7 with Purvis at point our ADER is 42.6

Well, this is a great gut check for the team, and its interesting to see these unusual lineups.

Good to get purvis some pg play. Cause all we have next year is Lewis and a freshman. A really good freshman. But we need a backup beside Lewis.

Or if Lewis needs to gain about 30 pounds of muscle. He get pushed around and controlled by the defender. Need to get separation. Although it looks like he is getting fouled every time he has e ball.

We didn't even look to run with Tyler in, at least brown led some breaks, we just missed baskets.

ya'll are just hating on Tyler, the Pack scored on three possessions while he was on the floor including his 3, Rodney Monroe did just fine and we went big and hung in there

It looks like UVA's gameplay is to take away transition. We haven't gotten behind there D at all. And they are basically running back after a shot

We're not getting transition points because Virginia is automatically dropping three on D after every shot. Good coaches do that. That's why Roy Williams is an idiot and needs to retire.

Pretty sure we have a couple of transition FTs.

Halo is right -- the offense was just running poorly with Lewis. Taking too long to get into our normal actions.

Well, I'll give up some transition scoring just to not see a team with a lot of offensive rebounds. Absolutely hate that shit

well kind of, but thats their style of play...they also suck at offensive rebounding, as a result of that coaching style

no team is gonna be stellar on both offense and defense because you have to pick your poison

Bennett thinks he can prevent more fast break scores against his team than 2nd chance points by his team with that strategy...some coaches think they can get more 2nd chance points than another team will get transition buckets...plenty of good coaches send more players to crash the boards

You keep Brown on the bench until we lose the lead. Bottom line.

You don't risk the rest of our year to beat Virginia on the road. Throw Lewis and Purvis (running the point) into the fire.
