i have a question for tww: how do people feel about colin kaepernick? every time i see him throw a football i can't believe that an NFL team trusts him at quarterback, but i know some people that think he's really good. can anyone explain this to me?

I don't think he's great. He's surrounded by pretty really good offensive talent with Gore and Hyde in the backfield and Vernon Davis, Crabtree, Stevie Johnson, Anquan Boldin to throw to. And of course they have a stout D.

I think he's a solid QB. Certainly not great. On a lesser team, where he's counted on to win games by himself, he wouldn't be as highly thought of. But he's getting the job done in SF with the talent that's around him.

He's an inconsistent passer and doesn't always make the best decisions. It's got to be in his mechanics...because he can make some unbelievable throws but also makes his fair of bad ones. He also forces a lot of throws...mostly to Crabtree.

When I said "he's getting the job done" I was referring more to his 18-7 regular season record. Obviously wins and losses don't tell the whole story. Like I said, SF has strong offensive weapons and a strong defense that have helped them win a lot of games
