Will continue through this evening before winds to more southwesterly.

Interesting that the smoke was aloft this morning but didn't make it to the surface before turbulent mixing. Therefore, AQ monitors across the triangle didn't pick this up until just recently.

PS - Don't run/exercise/etc. in this stuff.

if you think this is bad, you should have seen jacksonville, FL on i-95 last week. you could barely see the skyscrapers from 95 b/c it was so thick...like driving through a dense fog
