so i just downloaded ninja gaiden 2, and i dont think its possible to create a game any harder that that one. i forgot how much that game pisses me off even know im a big fan. the freaking birds keep coming from all over the place, stupid dead mummy type things that u cant kill unless ur duckin.... no wonder they give u unlimited continues..

So I tried finding reviews for the new Star Trek game for the Wii but couldn't find anything will any real content.

I only found the same generic description that is on the game's website and the same, indescriptive screenshots.

Has anyone heard anything about this game?

It should be a Star Trek first person shooter, holding the Wiimote like a phasor. It could encorporate the Captain Picard song too.

I also got my coin for pre-ordering Super Mario Galaxy last night. It's not as shiny as I expected, but the packaging is pretty cool.

I'm getting mine from TRU now, so I'll be waiting till Thanksgiving for it to arrive with family.

Meanwhile I have Battalion Wars 2 and Lego SW the Complete Saga to work on.

I wholeheartedly approve both games. BWii is a great one player shoot em up strategy game. I already realized its not a simple run around and shoot, as this game has its Advance Wars depth, except with you right in the middle of it.

And I've had Lego Star Wars Saga for only a day, but I can see how much hokey fun can be had with 2 people. Its easy on one level, but in order to complete 100% of the game, and to unlock other features, you have to really take your time and think the game through. I love it. I cannot wait to unlock Lego Vader or Boba Fett.

Vacation time cannot come fast enough

Composite cables (red, yellow, white) comes standard with it. From what I have read, the component cables make it noticeably better.

Actually, on my LCD display (I also own a DLP) the component cables make the Wii look worse. It really highlights the awful jaggies that a lot of these games have.

On my DLP however, it is better. I wouldn't say it's OMG HOW COME I'VE BEEN USING COMPOSITE ALL THESE YEARS better, but it's better.

i've heard madden 07 was not so good. but 08 was suppoe to be a big change.

but ive never played.

rent your wii games from the store. if you have a hollywood video account, sometimes you can go in there and ask if they have any rent one get one free coupons.

thats pretty much the only time i rent from there.

unless its a game that i really want to try.

I bought it and I regret it. If you have a 360 buy it for that because just the graphics alone will be worth the money. I would say the WII version is about the same as the ps2 version(graphics wise and content) plus the motion controls, that really don't help with the game play.

I have a wiikey, but cannot get it to update. I dont know what i'm doing as there are many updates. 1.3, 1.9b, 1.9g.....ugh - all with bad isos floating around.

^^I bought it for PS2 yesterday, but then got a wild hair and bought a wii. So, since I havent opened the game yet, I was thinking of taking it back in exchange for the wii version of madden 08.

if they are comparable, I will just keep the ps2 version and save myself $20

X-Play on G4 shafted Strikers. They gave it 3 out of 5 stars, because of the way-zoomed out view (which can be simply adjusted at the visual options menu) and they said the controls don't respond/handle very well (which sounds more like a user error to me).

Dude Strikers is awesome, I've never had any control problems or zoom problems. I think IGN gave it a 9+ review.
