^Karen was one of the first 2 infected, Glenn was one of the last infected. The odds of Karen surviving that long considering how fast she got sick, just not realistic. Don't think she'd have been able to survive until they got back with the medicine. Carol didn't succeed in stopping the plague from spreading, but her logic is understandable (the good of the group outweighs the good of one). Plus if Tyrese kills Carol, he's going to be on his own with an infant, not exactly the safest scenario. He probably doesn't want to be friends with Carol, but no way would he have hurt/killed her without basically assuring his own demise.

Lizzie didn't have to be killed technically. She understood that she couldn't kill Judith at least until she could walk so that threat was gone(for now), not like one person wouldn't be on guard duty at night anyways. Could have waited until they got to Terminus and then see if they could get her some help.

Killing Lizzie was a choice they made, for the safety of others. Carol killed Karen, in a move that she deemed to be for the safety of others. He'd be pretty hypocritical if he just condoned killing a child that is dealing with serious psychological issues but then flip out at Carol killing someone who had a plague that killed several other people in the prison in a painful manner when her end was swift and painless.

Holy shit. What a dark episode. Enjoyed it though. Carol is a tough mofo. I feel like there should be a Good Guy Tyrese meme now. Still wish he'd take that damn beanie off once in a while though, I don't think it has ever shown the top of his head.

^She did, but Carol said "she can't even walk yet" and Lizzie replied "yeah you're right", so I think she understood that she had to wait until she was old enough to walk before turning her, would have bought them a little time before worrying about her killing the baby.

Don't get me wrong, I liked the episode, was glad they finally had something interesting happen, but I just liked the way they handled it in the comic better. That being said I love what they've done with Carol's character on the show, one of my favorites for sure.

I didnt read the comics so I thought they were setting it up for the younger sister to have to off the older one at some point. If I was them I would have let the little girl come back and lock her in a room with Lizzie and let her get eaten then see how much she liked the zombies.

I don't know how much crazy you have actually witnessed in your life, but there isn't a lot of rehab options for that kind. Even in normal society, she would have likely been a burden to her family and permanently on medication/in a psych ward.

That girl was too far gone, it sucks that no one could see it earlier and save her sister, but there were not many good outcomes to it anyway.

I guess it was just me that was screaming at carol after she took the gun from lizzie to fucking shoot her, I thought it was nice they at least thought it over.

That doesn't make this "Lost style" at all. Lost style would be if they were adding a bunch if crap in to make dramatic cliff hangers that they never resolved or resolved in a way that made it obvious they were just making it up all along.

The past few episodes are more how the show should be. Apocalypse a aren't supposed to be soap operas with a little bit of zombies, they are supposed to be desperation, isolation, uncertainty, and survival, and this is what the past few episodes have captured.

I hope they continue in this direction. The Last of Us video game did this well...

They probably kill regular people and then remove their heads before they turn, so that they can eat them without getting infected.

I get the logic eating them before they turn, but seems a bit risky.

Would be smarter to just keep them alive and lop off extremities and keep them from bleeding out(like what they did to Hershel's leg). I mean all it would take is one person to be infected and it could be bad news for everyone feeding. A little bit of tainted meat could do a lot of damage.

Also looks like if they could grow tons of flowers, why not just grow fruits/vegetables instead?
