YES! i actually got some pressed tofu (at the suggestion of Skwinkle) and i've made stir-fry with that and broccoli and onions and some thai peanut sauce.

it is the bomb and sooo easy to do!!

yeah, i bought some extra firm tofu and tried cooking with it -- a total disaster it's too soft and liquidy to actually fry it up ya know?

i will only cook with pressed tofu from here on out.

1. Place paper towel or towel on a plate.
2. Put tofu on paper towel/towel plate.
3. Put another plate on top of tofu.
4. Place books or brick on plate.
5. Let tofu sit and paper towel absorb liquid for ~1 hour.
6. Prepare tofu as desired.

^I've been like this recently. I have more important things to do than clean but it has been a LONG time since my apartment has been thoroughly cleaned, so I'm slowly tackling the mess. The kitchen is pretty much done (swept, mopped, wiped down cabinets, organized things in the cabinets, took everything out of the fridge and wiped all of the shelves down, and cleaned out the microwave). Next up: organize/clean the living room, then my bedroom.
