But yeah it sucks that I have to pay for something that was broken out of the box. I could return the whole thing to Best Buy, but I don't want to deal with that, lose my downloaded stuff, etc.

for my rrod, 3 red lights, they are sending me a box that i put it in and drop it off...still gay that it takes so long, should be like how they do rock band instruments....put a hold on your credit card, overnight you a new one and free shipping to send your broken one back. when they get it, you can the hold on your cc taken off...i need my 360!!!!!!!!!!

G'damn, they really did a great job with the Geometry Wars 2. Unbelievable.

Also, for the record - TICKET TO RIDE is on the most fun 'complex board games' (a la Settlers of Catan, Carcassone, and others) I've played. I played with my wife for like 3 hours today out of nowhere. What an awesome board game.

what's the object of geometry wars? The screenshot took me back to Kindergarten's LOGO where you type commands to draw shapes with that triangle that sat in the middle of the screen. I think it's a turtle these days.

it's like asteroids on crack, you fly this little ship around and blow up objects. different types of objects fly at you as you advance and you can also obtain better weapons.

it's pretty fast paced and really fun!

lol. I love XBOX LIVE sometimes. Man, I was playing Ticket To Ride against some douche, and I beat him pretty squarely...in fact, I did so with a flourish and was blocking his moves and stuff - real aggressive game play (for that game at least) - but hey, all's fair in a strategy board game.

So after I trounce him I get a live message from him that goes off about how I was a cheap, a fag, and all sorts of other shit. Awesome! But it's not that good sirs that makes Xbox live great I am here to say. It's the fact that I just turned around, pulled my shorts down, and went up to my Xbox camera and took a pic of my spread butt cheeks, butthole, and superbly framed background balls to send back to him as my reply. Nothing felt better nor was there any other multilayer environment that enabled me to sum up a more adequate response for me than that on that moment.

Simple. Elegant. Xbox Live.

I spent an offensive amount of time on Goldeneye as a young teenager... and I have to say that I would purchase an XBL release of it... but FPS's on the consoles have built upon all the great things that Goldeneye had - so like ^he said, we have COD4, Halo, etc and I don't know how Goldeneye would live up to the standards we have today..

At the same time I could see myself get online with some proximity mines and become obsessed again...

Man, If you can make a better Xbox Live Arcade game than Geometry Wars 2 for value, fun, replayability, and just sheer awesomeness - I'd like to see it. That game i would pay a full title price for (60$). It's that fucking good.

Too bad I'm not great at it...slowly getting better and better. 6 game modes and multiplayer really make this one of those games that you just must have.
