I mean, if it's something that's important enough that you need to know the exact date the pictures were taken, chances are you'll know when that was anyway. Other times, it doesn't even matter and is just really annoying.

It's OK, I don't actually care about the issues anyway. I'd vote for ya.

And yeah, you can turn it off, but when someone else takes pics of something with their camera that has it turned on ... that just sucks.

oh yea, that does suck. i don't really get why you'd want it on there anyway. my camera will still label them with the date when i put them on my computer even though there isn't a date/time stamp on the actual photo (like it will have the date in the image name). so if i REALLY care, i could find out when it was taken. but context clues usually also help with that!!
