has anyone played cranium? my wife and i love the board game and when my whole family gets together we usually play it and everyone gets excited

is it just too much trouble to use the wiimote for a timed game like this?

I just got the thing yesterday, and my girlfriend is kicking my ass in everything Wii Sports/Play that we play.

Also, Mario Galaxy is awesome.

i can tell already its gonna be a pain learning to use the motion sensing in games like splinter cell. i always want to point the camera to the ceiling when i'm pushing the d-pad

Ok, So I've filled my wii with VC games and channels and I got no more memory left for any more games Why can't Nintendo allow playing off the SD card, release a harddrive, whatever, give me something. I know I can just delete and redownload, but why should I have to. I'll just quit buying games in the meantime.

I played wii for the first time today.

I suck at tennis. But I am a fairly good bowler...not much different from real life.

^^^ I really am hoping that with the wiiware rollout there will be a fix, I would even be willing to pay like 100 bucks for a little 8 gig hard drive to lay next to the wii. Nintendo give me something.

100 bucks for 8 gigs??? That's even more than what Microsoft charges!

If they're gonna release something so puny (and charge so much for it!), they should just make it so you can save this stuff to SD cards (you can get 8GB cards for less than $100, soon 16GB cards).

^ Yeah I own about 12 of them for their original system (never owned a turbografx or a genesis). I'm wanting to rebuy most of my old games, so I won't have to keep hooking up the SNES and NES. However that would expensive as I have probably close 32 games for the NES, 35 for the SNES, 41 for the N64 and the wii can play my 87 gamecubes through BC (plus the 12 wii games so far). Eventually it'd be nice to play all my games on a single system, the wii, don't see it happening though. For now I'm just sticking with rebuying only games I like: Mario Bros., Metroid, Donkey Kong, Zelda, Lode Runner.

so for more than 1 wiimote, is there something i'm missing to try to get them working? so far i've had to actually get into the game and then go to the remote setting to activate them. i can't just turn the power button on and it works

Have you tried the connect buttons? One located under the battery cover on the Wiimote and the other located where the SD card slot is on the front of the Wii. It took me a while to find those.

push the button on the wiimone...the lights will flash. Then push the one on the wii. After that it should work.

whoa, just rented mario and sonic at the olypics.

now thats fun.

i rented mario party 8 and returned it after one day, i just didnt like the whole story board just to play mini games and unlock them.

but the olympics if real fun. and makes you break a sweat. its not soo easy like the mario party 8 games

It was for the Xbox and PS2

Now most people have mod chips to allow them to play a burned game

the game is downloaded or copied to your computer, then using a DVD burner you burn the game, then your modded Wii can play it
