it seems like they're self reporting more violations in womens basketball and men's soccer in an attempt to drag their response out long enough to keep it from affecting men's basketball this season. Hopefully the NCAA doesn't give them another 90 days to file.

I don't really understand why these new violations wouldn't be treated separately from all the other stuff. Schools self-report minor stuff all the time and never get any punishment and I assume they don't even ever have to go in front of the Committee on Infractions to plead their case. So why would a couple of minor, new violations hinder the old stuff?
