Everyone is better than Sid, we cannot possibly hire a worse coach. Comparing any candidate's accomplishments to Sid's accomplishments is completely asinine.

And winning the NIT is not more impressive than reaching the sweet 16. Really, it's not even as impressive as losing in the first round of the big boy tournament.

Like I said, WSU can't help they didn't get lucky and get in like VCU. Everyone has forgot most experts said VCU shouldn't have got in. WSU beat NCAA (snubs) Vtech and Alabama to win it. At least be acknowledge what they did was impressive.

Too many people hating on the NIT. Yeah it's not the big dance but you've still got to beat some semi-legit teams (bubble and snubs) to win it. Definitely more impressive than being bounced on the first day, be serious here folks .

Maybe not in and of itself, but did you watch any of the games? His team and his coaching looked miles beyond anything we've had in years (decades?). He did an impressive job and I think it would translate well to State.

We know what we're getting with Marshall. It's not very good and it's not very exciting.

We're not sure what we'd get with Shaka, but there's a chance it could be phenomenal. I'd rather shoot for that and risk failing hard than hire Marshall only to get Herb'd in five years.

29-8 against pretty poor competition is mediocre. His only win against any team ranked in Pomeroy's top 50 came tonight. 0-3 before Bama. He beat up on a down MVC, still couldn't win it, and didn't make the tourney.
