only have time for tokyo, but i'd really like to go to kyoto sometime

i visited the hot springs at tidrum in tibet last year. crazy. hot springs at 13,000 feet, i only wish it had been snowing...

Haven't done the hot springs, not really an urge to. Kyushu sucks balls for the most part though, avoid at all costs.

when I went to the hot springs at tsunon (?) we had 6 feet of snow and outdoor hot springs, that was pretty fucking neat.

if you go to kyoto you need to see the Imperial Palace and gardens <3

the imperal family used to live there til 1860s and then moved to tokyo and it's all faded red paint and outdoors. i feel bad for knowing that off the top of my head

haha, i'm not a sushi person, but i'd probably try fugu sashimi if i had the chance just to say i did. I heard it's crazy expensive though.

I'm aware that Kyoto used to be the capital. But here, the Imperial Palace is considered to be in Tokyo, not Kyoto.

go see the golden palace too, it's kinda tacky and it blinds people at noon, but the gardens around it are pretty too. A friend stole me a rock from the middle of a creek there and I still have it

which? i'm sure it's harder to get into tokyo's (we just toured the outside, go see the Meganebashi Bridge!), but kyotos was a piece of cake.
