I really wanted this to be done by the Union or SG, but since I think they won't do it...

There should be a section where there's a map of the US and for different areas people can sign up for different dates if they need or want a ride.

I'm quite aware of the one in talley.
i'm also aware of how often it's used.

it's also quite inconvenient for many people.

Yeh that it is a pretty cool idea! Especially for freshmen without cars. . .that would have helped me out some last year

Wouldn't it work better if you just listed all 100 counties and then just a few of the major cities?

Yeah, I'm just pissed cause I live in the boonies and no cities from my county are on the list.

a user should be able to edit a posted ride without having to delete it and add another

also whether the ride will be round trip would be nice

ex:
leaving: date from X to Y
returning: date from Y to X

However, some might be going somewhere else so there should be some kind of n/a option.

And a national version is desirable - especially in time for breaks.

(It's quite nifty however - now that i see my ideas might be implemented, i guess i might come up with some more.)

hey jake, i know it would take some time to program...but have hometown on user profile...then add those to a database...and if someone needed a ride there/or back then it would show up on the map. but not have ALL the cities onthe map to begin with, just the ones with rides going/coming from them
