I've always wanted to be able to hide certain threads I did not care to view. They just take up space. It would be cool to be able to press a button to the left of the thread to make it disappear.

The first topic to get the axe from me would be "enough is enough." Pretty much any thread nearing or above 1000 posts would qualify. Then I would eliminate the topics that I no longer read because they are mainly inside conversations between the same 5-10 people about the same stuff over and over...

thats a good idea! I like that...then every once and a while, have a major switch that turns them all back on if you wanted to catch up on something maybe?
