This is a suggestion to the folks that run this website to make some money from advertisers since they had to start charging people to be a user. My idea is to make a message board called Links that let's companies pay you (runners of this website) to put their link in it with a brief description of their deal. Surely advertisers and companies would want to somehow advertise on a major college's informal website. College kids are stupid and have money to spend. This would not slow down the website any, as banners would, would allow for you to get a stream of revenue, and help us find companies that have good deal offers. I imagine that Dell, Cingular and other sorts of companies would pay you a bit to advertise on here when they have a good deal, like say, a computer deal w/ free upgrade to 17" flat panel monitor. 11/3/2004 9:29:04 PM |

They charge to be a premium user I mean. Are you talking about that banner up there? Seems like there are only about 4 or 5 advertisers that ad up there. 11/3/2004 10:07:42 PM |

advertisers dont wanna pay if they arent guaranteed people to click.
just have a thread or something to "raise moneys" where all you ahve to do is enter and click the thing a thousand times. 11/7/2004 3:10:10 PM |
