might as well make a thread out of it.. i am not in any way related to these people, just trying to show you kids a few bikes that are not in the local paper - maybe on of you will be interested. Feel free to add any deals you know of. winter is defenitly the worst time to sell a bike but on the other hand there should be plenty of good deals going around

here's the first dude

FS: 1998 Yamaha YZF 600 --- $3500 - Must sell
all stock condition and in very nice condition, 10k miles, needs
nothing.

My friend has it in Va and is planning on coming to Raleigh next week
.
So the deal is he's got a deal on an R1 and they don't want a trade so
he will let it go for $3500 or close to that so he can go ahead and
put a deposit to hold his new bike.
call Jim 919-244-7162 for more info

dis a dinosaur, but of you hands dont grow out of yer ass im sure you can pull a streetfighter out of it for cheap:

yamaha sr-500 '81 -$500 or best offer

Bike is in fair condition. has less than 12k original miles.
been sitting for some time and still cranks right up, even in the cold
If you have never seen one, they are interesting, fun little rides.
Big single cylinder 4 stroke. customizable, this one is stock except
for breather & air filter. Fun, but I just don't need it. Don't really
have the room anymore, so feel free to make any offer! Hard to come
by, but parts are readily available.

I've been planning to sell my BMW F-650 Dakar for around $5700. I've been too lazy to post ads so I'll probably hang on to it until the spring when the market is better. If anyone knows someone who is looking for one, send them my way. Pics in my gallery.

The CS is tight, but I wanted a dual-sport. $5700 is in the mid-to-high price range for a Dakar, but mine is in pretty much perfect condition with very low miles. If anyone is looking for a bike like that then mine is definately one of the best ones that they will find. Probably not going to find many college students that are interested, but I know there is a lot of power in networking so I figured I would post it in this thread.

^ Those things make pretty good touring bikes too. They are pretty comfy and I think they have about a 6.5 gallon fuel tank. They are a little dated though. They haven't changed much over the years.
