While I think it's a little early to start calling for Herb's job again...

Surely he recognizes that we must bench Evtimov in order to save the season.

He's consistently the worst player on the court and we aren't good enough to overcome his constant mistakes and just plain ineffectiveness. Please get healthy soon Ilian, ACC play is around the corner and I've got too many breakables around the house

Herb has been shooting pretty damned well this season (#2 in ACC/#28 in NCAA)

he just had a poor showing tonight. Herb will bounce back this Sunday. I expect him to outrebound the Mountaineers and shoot at least 55%

i think the problem nc state fans have the past few years is all we do is complain. honestly, nobody sees when we actually win or do compete well in our losses, but rather we are all the first to jump on the "fire herb" bandwagon. i think if our students and alumni and fans in general put forth half the effort they do hating herb into supporting our atheletes, coaches and school then our teams would actually have something to be proud to play for.

Hell, I'm not coming out of the woodwork becuase we lost. I said it after last season

Until we can learn to rebound, go inside, stop getting 7:00 scoring droughts, run the fast break, get a true point, get a true center, recruit ATHLETES, and make udjustments during a game... not to mention get rid of the "Stall offense" that helped Maryland, Vandy and Duke come from double digits down in the last few mins of the game to beat us......... then I'm not going to be happy. Hell, just knock out half of those things and I'll at least regain some sense of hope

I mean how would you feel if not everyone hated Mazzone... just a select few. You'd be labeled a troll and a fairweather fan. This is the same thing. Some of you remain hopeful, some don't. You saw what Mazzone's downfall is. My drunk,blind, dead grandmother can tell you what play is coming up next.

Now, I hate to compare Herb to Mazzone becuase that's not fair to Herb... but we see flaws as well. There's no one on here that doesn't disagree with at least ONE THING Herb consistently does during games or how he runs his offense. Well, some of us count numerous things that he has no intent on fixing. We see it as a lethal blow... some of you don't.

So how is right to hate Mazzone becuase of his flaws but wrong to not have faith in Herb because of his? Pretty bad analogy, I know... but I mean it's really the same principle, it's that EVERYONE hates Mazzone.
