My inbox hasn't been doing the usual .wav to let me know I have mail. Everything else on my computer makes sounds, and on other computers as well, and I can still hear the embeds in all the threads, but I'm curious why the inbox wasn't doing it too.

tools > internet options > advanced > multimedia > play sounds in web pages

Already did that, which is why I put the "I can hear the embeds (and videos) in threads"

laptop never has, i didnt know it even made noises til about 2 months ago when i was on my parents desktop
