My eyes get huge when I realize how good Bedard has been for us, so far. Keep it up! I'm really enjoying seeing some of our young talent go out there and compete and be successful against the best in the league. Who knows these early season injuries may turn out to be a blessing for us.

man, what a crazy game last nite.

poinson SUCKED ASS...not even two innings and he was out...and after they were down 8-2 after the 2nd, i thought it was going to be a rough nite.

was it on in NC? the sound of the crack of the ball hitting Roberts knee made me cringe. sucks about lopez too. atleast they pulled up Fasano a few weeks ago, so they still have 2 catchers they can go to. hopefully Roberts will be ok.

i say put surhoff at catcher

he actually came up a catcher, and we could use his bat right now. perhaps put him in the bullpen and let him get reaccustomed to it, then see how he does in the field.

but we NEED sammy to step it up and start hitting like i KNOW he can hit.

Glad to be 4 games up after hovering around 1.5 and 2 for a while. We need to continue to play solid against the M's. It was nice to pick up a win against the solid Moyer last night. But we need to have our sights set on the sweep and hopefully the sox and the yanks will stumble some more.

I really hope the sox can turn it around tonight against toronto and then again against the yankees. Im going to catch the Sox-Orioles on monday or tuesday when Im in boston (cant remember which night) and I would love it if it were a showdown for the division lead.
