Oh yeah, and they need to deal with one of my complaints from last year.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, NEVER WEAR THE RED JERSEYS AGAIN. A Giants jersey is blue or white. That is all.

Sadly, I'm not even sure what you mean by West End. I've lived in NC all my life--I'm a Giants fan because my dad was born in NYC and grew up in north Jersey, he's a huge fan, and I used to watch the games on TV with him. I've watched as many games as I could get on regular cable, but haven't had the coin to spend on Sunday Ticket or anything like that. Maybe in a year or two...

The West End was at the end of West Davie St dowtown by the railroad tracks. It used to be where Club Oxygen is now. It's a shame you guys missed out on that. Before the West End everyone went to the Marriot across from Crabtree Valley Mall. But I'm in the same boat as you richthofen. I've lived here almost my entire life, but half my family is from NY (dad's side, mom's is from Pittsburgh), and my dad and his dad were die-hard. I grew up watching the G-Men and going to bars and shit on Sunday instead of church. Good times.

That's pretty much me too. Both my parents are from New York and my brother, father, and I are all Giants fans. Lots of yelling at the TV come Sunday afternoon. I started watching in 90 when the G-men won their second superbowl.

Only seen one of their games live unfortunately.

well you have until about 2009

i go to at least one every year

my favorite players are probably LT and Joe Morris

Shockey is my favorite current player, because of the way he gets fired up to play

he came around at just the right time

when everyone on the team seemed like they hated having to get up and go to work

Gibril Wilson is second

because he will break his own neck to put a hurtin on someone

Osi is third because he is becoming a beast

i love our young guys for a change

and god damn

i completely forgot about junkin

jesus christ

Yes and no. Building a new stadium yes, but not moving from the Meadowlands. The Giants have made a deal with the New Jersey Sports and Entertainment Authority to build a brand new, $750 million dollar stadium next to the current stadium (don't know the exact location). However, the stadium is going to be completely financed by the Giants and private funding. No taxpayer or state money will pay for the stadium, and the Giants will pay 6-7 million dollars a year in rent for the land.

The NJSEA were being a bunch of asses about it and kept asking for more stuff before they'd let the stadium be built, but finally they made the deal. I haven't heard anything about the whole story anywhere other than Giants.com. ESPN mentioned the lawsuit the Giants filed last week, but that's all anyone has covered it that I know of, so I'm not surprised you haven't heard about it. Still, it's a fantastic deal for NJ and the fans. I just hope ticket prices and such don't skyrocket in order to help cover the costs.

Here's some stuff from giants.com on the story...

-Giants exploring other options when NJSEA makes additional demands

http://www.giants.com/news/eisen/story.asp?story_id=6171
-Giants sue to get project back on track

http://www.giants.com/news/eisen/story.asp?story_id=6232
-I think this is the press release that the stadium deal is getting done

http://www.giants.com/news/eisen/story.asp?story_id=6235
-Full story about the deal being finished

nfl.com bio is pretty thorough

from personal observations, he is a beast (6'5, 260) plus a lot of things you cant teach...very well spoken, the big apple will be no issue, bright kid (business degree from ND, not "african american studies" or "general studies")

notre dame career sack leader
