i saw a 3 minute long preview for this on mtv and was laughing really hard almost the whole time

I think it's a matter of not trying at all. It seems like a sizable portion of my generation is full of these morons who think that humor means saying and doing a bunch of random shit. The less sense it makes, the funnier it is. The concepts of satire, subtlety, and wit are completely lost on people like Andy Milonakis (and the writers of Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Wonder Showzen as well).

I laughed. The skits are very hit-or-miss, but there were enough funny ones to keep me watching. I couldn't stop laughing when he cut his thumbs off and the Chicken Nugget PEZ thing was pretty funny too.

That "Moooooooon" skit was dumb as shit though.

Yes I have. I've seen about fifteen minutes of one episode. That's enough to establish that ATHF follows the "saying or doing a bunch of random things = funny" formula. The main characters are a talking meatball and a talking milkshake for Christ's sake...

lets not even mention that that sounds like one of the first episodes (1-2) which are noticibly less funny since they were developing the funny. i mean the first few where they actually were detectives.

look at the simpson's first episode. that shit wasnt funny at all and ppl love that series.

Geez, you act like watching ATHF is hard to do, like someone it's something someone would have to lie about doing because it's so exclusive.

No need to drag this thread off onto another tangent. In my mind, Andy Milonakis/Wonder Showzen/ATHF are all cut from the same crappy cloth. They're not funny. The people who write these shows have no sense of humor, they just think random phrases and events are the epitome of good comedy.
