The Rock Boat is a 5 day music festival on some cruise ship... Bands that are headlining it are Sister Hazel, Marc Broussard, Michael Tolcher, Will Hoge, and many more... Anyway, there's an online battle of the bands called "Battle For The Boat" that Icehouse hosts and the winner gets the last available spot on the Rock Boat... About 80 bands across the country are up for this and we're one of them... here's how you vote:

2. Click on "Battle For The Boat" icon (on the left)
3. Find us ("Brooks Wood Band")
4. And VOTE!!! You can vote up to 3 times a day up through July 18th...

it just seems like cheating or something. cause its basically anyone just goes and votes even without having music knowledge or atleast someone judging bands. this is how that ernie ball warped tour shit is. basically just make anyone and everyone vote for you which doesnt mean anything about how good the band is. im not dissing, im just saying i dont like things like this.

Well, in my opinion, it's Icehouse's way of getting more people to go to their website... Get 80 bands to tell all their fans to go to their site... On the other hand, if we win, we get free tix on a cruise and the chance to play with some really good bands... So we'd be stupid to not go for it... Either way, we're still getting promotion on the IH site... I don't even like icehouse... I'm a redstripe man, mon...
