The original is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen, I'm excited about seeing it.

it looks to me like a pg13 version of bad santa, which was absolutely hilarious, although it looks funny, i dont think it'd be better than santa

It definitely pushes the boundaries of the PG-13 rating like I haven't seen in years. Sure, it's pretty funny, but it's really just not all that different than the original movie.

Linklater does this movie which is surprising. The previews actually looked surprisingly funny. I might check this out.

yeah the language is HORRIBLE for pg-13...lol...the whole time i heard parents saying "this is awful"

it's really rough if you have a kid in a wheelchair there because that kid gets flamed a lot in the movie...lol...i loved this though and thought it was more enjoyable than the first one AND better than bad santa

Yes it is wrong and you will die a slow painful death for requesting another Burt Reynolds movie to be remade. I still remember the quote I read after they remade the longest yard...

"Adam Sandler can't carry Burt Reynold's jock strap..."

People attempt to retell the essential story of charles kane in plenty of movies
and the way the story was laid out, which was novel and innovative at the time, has made its way into lots of films, both pop and indie

just saw this

I thought Wedding Crashers was funnier, as were Bad Santa and the original Bad News Bears (of course)

but it's still one of the funniest movies out right now. Billy Bob Thornton basically plays the same character he did in Bad Santa. So funny, definitely go see it.

Under Armour I would guess. I thought it was pretty good especially for a remake.

that shit was hilarious, it was like bad santa, with more children.

when the kid in the wheel chair was in pitching practice and it was his turn to approach the mound, thornton goes "ok kid, roll your machine up here" i just about died.

Not a bad flick, though the kids lacked the charisma/spunk of those in the original. It sucks that little things had to be tweaked for the sake of being PC (the non-alcoholic beer, etc.). I really liked the twist on the Bears' post-cheer comment as it was linked back to earlier development. I got my six bucks worth.
