--Ann Coulter from Hannity's radio show.

Quote :
"Again putting the liberal media meme to death, right-wing loon Ann Coulter explains to fellow winger Brent Bozell on the 7/26 Sean Hannity Show that Bush should appoint a more extreme Judge than Roberts to the Supreme Court because “we have the media now”. "

Hahah, I've always though Coulter was one of the most insightful people of our day.

She can be very insightful at times, unfortunately its usually lost under her crazy political rantings.

funny, ann coulter finally told the truth!

however, I wouldn't take her "we" to mean the right. I'd take it to mean corporate whores like her and the other media pundit tongue-waggers

[quote]"There were exactly 704 stories in the [2000] campaign about this flap of Gore inventing the Internet. There were only 13 stories about Bush failing to show up for his National Guard duty for a year. There were well over 1,000 stories - Nexus stopped at 1,000 - about Gore and the Buddhist temple. Only 12 about Bush being accused of insider trading at Harken Energy. There were 347 about Al Gore wearing earth tones, but only 10 about the fact that Dick Cheney did business with Iran and Iraq and Libya."

^Current administration, and the "I invented the Internet" story, misunderstood or not was pretty entertaining you have to admit. The Earth tones I'm not really sure of the entertainment value.

his point is that its not slanted to the benefit of libs infact its more sensationist oriented, and it turns out that the conservatives are the ones in power and grab most of hte neg. headlines. of course i thought the same thing just that the "evil" corporations owned them in the 90's. and corporations i logically thought were connected with republicans.... this was back in high school now so cut me slack.

Yep. When are we going to learn that corporations would smash free market capitalism if they thought they could made a dollar doing so... Which they would, if only the democrats were free to do so.

remember when Coulter got fired from MSNBC in '97 for saying "I guess that's why you guys lost." to the president of a Vietnam Veterans association who was speaking with an antiwar perspective tinged with human decency

yeah, shes a piece of shit, everyone with half a brain on the right and the left knows that.

the "you lost the war for us" comment was pretty bad, but seriously, why does it matter if we won that war in the first place? its not like we missed the super bowl b/c of it or something.

lol, brent bozel, i forgot about him. hes the one that tried to get pro wrestling off tv in the 90s i believe.

Holy shit, I hadn't heard that. That is fucking hilarious. I like how she was defending McCarthy about a year ago. "Hilter wasn't that bad the beer flowed like water during his rein...I guess that's why you guys lost."

A second look: CEO of media giant who sought to gag reporters has deep political pockets

Chairman and chief executive of media juggernaut Time Warner Richard Parsons, who barred a conversation with Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia from being on the record, cut a massive $25,000 check to the Republican National Committee in 2004, and according to Newsmeat.com has given $119,750 to Republican candidates and just $12,000 to Democrats.

Parsons tried to impose a "gag order" on a public interview of Scalia conducted by Norman Pearlstein, Time's editor in chief, Nov. 21. Time Magazine is the publication's flagship national newsweekly
