I'm interviewing today or tomorrow for a job with an Exotic Car rental company (http://www.gothamdreamcars.com)

Most of my duties would be delivering the cars door to door. And the cars are, ahem, a Porsche 911 Turbo Convertible, Ferrari 360 Modena (coupe and spider), Lamborghini Gallardo, and Bently Continental GT

You will also have to get the cars washed (local car wash) and gassed up prior to each rental and will have to receive the cars & check for damage after each rental. 3. Transport - Our vehicles are constantly moving, even when not rented. When they need to get from point-to-point locally, you will drive them (this is the fun part). i.e. from NYC to a service facility NJ ~15 miles away. When they need to get farther away, you will be responsible for trailering the car directly to the customer with our Dodge Ram 2500 & 20’ custom enclosed trailer. You will also be responsible for responding to roadside assistance calls"

Well they said some days its 0 hours of work, and others its 18. But I think I could handle driving around in exotics...i mean thats not work?!?!!

If there's a discount I doubt you could still afford it. The cheapest rate is $800/day for the 911 Turbo. Everything else is $800/half day and up

crazy hours, not steady pay, low rate of pay, no opportunity for advancement, probably a cap to how much you can make/certain number of raises, etc

any of those factors would get to me eventually. sounds like a great part time/temp job, but i don't think i'd make it my career. I mean they are great cars and all, but i'd rather have a high paying job with lots of advancement and just go buy my own so i can keep it as clean as I want to keep it and not worry about anyone else damaging it.
