I bought a Haynes Repair Manual hoping to find out how to take my ceiling down in my car (98 Grand Marquis) so that I may find a wire that is shorting out (causing a fuse to continuously blow). However, I did not find anywhere in the manual where it described how to do that. I need to get this done as soon as possible because the fuse that is blowing controls my turning signals, as well as other important devices in my car. If anyone has any information that would be beneficial, please let me know.

Is there some kind of Crown Vic/Grand Marquis message board? You're probably not the only person who's had this problem...

Oh really. I didn't know that. The library on campus has nothing useful. Suggested that I go to a public library. Im getting tired of looking for something. Maybe I can find someone who would be willing to take my ceiling down and have a gander...cash being involved, of course.
