Rock and Roll High School?

If so, fuck yes, even though I already have it (since the screening will be DVD I'm sure).

It's already in the Blue Ridge $1.50 theatre. Don't waste your life. AMAZING visuals but a non-existant plotline. Alba's in like 3 minutes MAX of the whole thing. EASILY one of the stupidest films I've ever seen. I walked out feeling a few year's dumber.

^yeah i know it's @ BR, but it's a $1.50 either way. Anyway, I've heard good and bad reviews of it. Actually, STELLAR, good, and bad reviews. I've never seen anything that looks like this, so why not check it out?

Sin City is gorgeous and a perfect translation of the comic. Because it's a perfect translation of the comic, though, as a movie it doesn't work so well. The only scene with vitality is Tarantino's, and most of the acting is pretty flat outside of Del Toro and Rourke. Not bad, but not great.

The best movie on that list is Rock and Roll High School, followed by Mad Hot Ballroom.

^ Thank you. Unless your a comic n3rd0r, this movie is next to worthless. It was at least a half hour too long. I kept thinking "damn, that would've been a solid way to end it" only to be greeted by more nonsense. It's quirky as hell, and I just didn't like it.
