i think he was in one of my classes poli sci classes my senior year. seemed to get along well with all the white people in there. AS WELL AS THE LAZY HISPANIC TEACHER.

he wrote articles in the Technician to get a response and at a school that is majority white the articles he wrote generated a response.

He's originally from Charlotte and now live's there and works for BofA as some kind of captial investment banker, he writes a community column in the Charlotte Observer editorial pages every so often, he's also big on the Charlotte Alumni group. I worked with him at the YMCA summer camp he is far from a racist.

Oh, I hung out with all people at nc state. I paid too much money just to hang with one crowd... i lived with 3 white guys who are my boys to this day and i have lots of black, indian, asian, and cabalanasian friends.

I dont regret writing the article at all bc it toughened my skin a little bit to have people hate me bc of it, but I have definitely grown a lot since writing it and understand what I did wrong and how i might have alienated peeps with the article. I was in college and it was a college article and it made me a better writer for the Charlotte Observer.

My wife was in Munoz class her senior year too, I think with Decker. The couple times I've met him he was quite the upstanding student-citizen.

Basically I wrote an article for the technician (MAY 2003) about how white people and black people and how it is to be black. Technically the article wasn't racist (never said white people suck), but it was a very reactionary article I wrote based on experiences I had while here at State and it threw ALL white people in one category or under the bus leaving room for the anger that follow the article. I took a lot of heat in the letters to the editor - which were understandable - and was called a "racial hater" here on tww. I wrote over 100 columns for the paper and thats one column I wish i could write over again, not to change what i meant...but to say it better than i did.
