eclipse, but your computer has to be fast to run it.

i dont think there is anything else. I guess there is xcode, but since i use visual studio every day, I think xcode is pure garbage. Code sense stuff in eclipse is even better than xcode.

attn team xcode: just copy visual studio.

Eclipse...but you need 1GB RAM and a fat processor.

Netbeans is pretty good.

Slickedit.

TextPad is pretty good.

OK so how about for someone running a 1GHz G4 w/ 512MB RAM?

Never really liked SlickEdit's interface. I'll check into Netbeans though...and look into getting another RAM chip for the computer

granted i haven't done anything in Java for a long time, but jEdit at sourceforge used to be nice
