I know that torrent files are the new faster way to share videos online, but what program do you use to play a torrent video? I've tried DivX and all of the others but none seem to work. Does anyone know?

I bet you like it. That .torrent file took you, what, 2 seconds to download? That's a hell of a compression to get a 2 hour movie into a single tiny .torrent file, eh?

I feel like being nice so instead of telling you to use the search button or google, I will spare you the extra 20 seconds.

Torrent files aren't actual movies. They are a way to download movies. What you need is a bittorrent client, like Azureus or Bittornado. These are programs that actually do the downloading. Say you have a torrent file of a movie that you want. You would go to Azureus and select file -> open torrent and browse to the torrent file. Assuming that the torrent health is ok, Azureus will download the file. Most of the files you get will be compatible with Windows Media Player.

if your parents use your computer, make sure to call the incoming folder something less obvious than "[your name]'s Porn"

Yeah my question may be stupid, but I asked the question because I downloaded a football video from accvideos.com and it was a .torrent file. It wouldn't play in any program so I wasn't sure what to do. Everything I searched for just said how to download the files. Sorry for a stupid question and wasting your time.
