I know this is a blog from a Windows user, but is there any particular reason there are 6 steps to a 5-step process?

I have both Mac and PC, and I think I still like the Windows interface better. Maybe it's just b/c I'm so used to it.

It all comes down to personal preference.

I grew up on PCs but always liked Macs better. I think it has to do with a number of factors.

that spotlight app is really annoying because it's not coded properly. i wouldn't recommend installing it.

correction: the tray part of the spotlight program works fine.

it's when you open the external window to see all results that it croaks.

nice use of GDS though

So far esgargs the only program I found worth while is the FlyaKiteOX 2.0.

Did a whole lot of changes to the Windows look and feel, while not hogging TOO much of my resources. The widget thing (Konfabulator) and Entbloess 2 were fairly worthless. Spotlight has been writen to be worthless by many people, so I didn't even bother.

I didn't like it, but then I really don't care for OSX. All the sounds were annoying. I kept Konfabulator though since I was meaning to install that beforehand anyways.

^^ yeah. It's nice to have something that is skinned well in windows. I'm running mini iTunes remote and The Weather. Let me know if you have some suggestions for other good ones.

The Picture Frame is kinda cool.

I also like the "What to Do" widget...it syncs well with icalendar or Outlook.

The "Simposons Quoter" is cool.

"Quagmire" is just awesome

The Hula girl looks cool dancing when you're listening to music.
