Someone I know is looking to hire for a full-time entry level network installation/cabling position.

The job requires driving a state vehicle throughout the state (must have a good record), there are sometimes overnight trips (compensation for meals and hotel, probably need a credit card), Monday through Friday and must be dependable. Pays somewhere in the neighborhood of $10-12 but no benefits because it is a temp job (11 months by state law).

Basically you would be driving a group of contractors to different sites and helping with the installation of networks. Contractors are not allowed to drive state vehicles so thats why this position is needed and its also why dependability is important (they can't work if drivers don't show up). Its a great chance to get some experience and possibly work your way into a permanent position. Its a pretty relaxed work environment too.

Any questions, just PM me.

i'd hope that anyone that has a free schedule monday->friday and has networking/cabling experience has a better job than something that requires driving some people around in a van for $10-12/hr - what is that about $20k before taxes and all of your insurance

You don't need experence pulling wire. If you read between the lines, you'll be driving mexicans around.

I know of people with computer science degrees that work at Best Buy because they can't find a job. This is great for someone who is taking some time off of school or just needs a job to hold them over til they find a real one. Plus its better loking on a resume than Applebees and Target.
