so I bought a lexmark z45 printer from this guy for 20$.

He gave me the wrong power cord. no big deal I thought. Went searching for one, couldn't find it. Looked on websites, the cheapest I could find was 35$. Then I looked at ebay, and I found a power cord for 17$ + s&h. So I got that one.

Hooked it up and printed a test page. Blank as hell. so now I needed ink cartridges. Went to Best Buy and each cartridge was 40 fucking dollars. I had to buy 80$ in ink cartridges.

Why are ink cartridges so high? I don't understand.

so now my total investment in this sorry ass z45 is a little over 100$ and I think they are like 80$ brand new.

cartridgeworld on hillsborough (next to western lanes) have lexmark cartridges for like $10 or $15 less than retail
