looking for a program available on campus that does basic simple circuit design, something i can save as a picture and import to Word, any help would be apprecaited

A guy showed me a program called "Edison", just google it. Sounds like it should do what you're asking for. it's got a free demo, but 40 for the full program.

How basic are you wanting and why does it have to be in Word, I assume for a lab report?

^yup, just getting tired of drawing circuit diagrams by hand, basically just needs to have batterys, resistors, diodes, nodes, and labels (just the basics)

...basically what i need is what the professors use to add circuit diagrams to homeworks

is microsoft visio on the campus office suite? cuz it has it

Microsoft Visio does that.

Or just download a trial version of BSPICE 2

Visio is my preference, and then I'll use dia (available on the eos machines), and the the trial version of PSPICE/OrCAD that actually has the simulation package with it, but that might be a little more than what you need.

wow, this is annoying...everytime i try to run Visio i get this error message "Problem: Install Failed. MSI returned error code: 1603" had this message in both dan and eb1l
