I never said Bush didn't make the link. I don't remember hearing about it (at least not nearly as much as people played it up), but I do remember repeatedly insisting that the rationale for war wasn't the best that could have been used.

I too never heard Bush say the two were connected. Of course, I realize why people of lesser intelligence would draw the conclusion they were connected because it seems obvious. Of course, as so often happens, what we all know isn't necessarily so.
