Is there anyway to find out what kind of RAM goes into my laptop without knowing the model number of my laptop or opening up the laptop?
Its an HP that i bought a few months ago from Best Buy, but they've taken it off their website. DV1100 series.  9/8/2005 12:37:50 AM

It takes 10-15 seconds to take off one screw and simply read what is printed on the RAM.
