Thats not the same. I have never even heard of the older Crash, as I am sure most people on here haven't either. But I bet you almost everyone has heard of Funny Farm.

People who know anything about film know about David Cronenberg's 1996 film. In fact, many reviewers stated in the introductory paragraph of the 2005 film that it was "not to be confused with the 1996 David Cronenberg auto-erotica film of the same name."

Personally I don't mind if they use the same title of a "repeat on TBS at Sunday afternoon" cheese film with Chevy Chase, which wasn't that funny anyway, but stay the hell away from David Cronenberg a.k.a. Jesus Christ.
