Godammit, here we go again.
http://www.cnn.com/2005/POLITICS/09/10/katrina.contracts.reut/index.html
Quote : | "At least two major corporate clients of lobbyist Joe Allbaugh, President Bush's former campaign manager and a former head of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, have already been tapped to start recovery work along the battered Gulf Coast.
One is Shaw Group Inc. and the other is Halliburton Co. subsidiary Kellogg Brown and Root." |
Its a long article, but I don't need to post the whole thing. Its the same shit again with Bush's buddies.9/11/2005 9:21:14 AM |

It may be 10 years, 20 years, or 100 years, but the truth of all these dealings with Halliburton are going to come out and it's going to be ugly. 9/11/2005 6:12:37 PM |

I don't know, do you have a Green Card or are you a permanent resident? I could get you some numbers if you want to talk to a rep.

If you don't mind diving for cover, you'll get wealth alright. Just stick with it for the 11 months or you'll get hit with a shitload of taxes.
A SHITLOAD.

If that number's dead (they're reworking a lot of internal stuff, numbers are disconnected sometimes) go to this site for more locations in NC. 9/11/2005 9:02:16 PM |

Why is this a suprise? There are only about four or five companies domestically that could even do the sort of massive infastructure projects required to rebuild New Orleans. Considering how much work there is to be done, I'm not suprised Halliburton got a share of the work.
It's like saying, "OMG, Lockheed Martin got a multi-billion dollar fighter contract from the Air Force! Didn't the President have some connections with them?! Foul play, foul play!" 9/12/2005 11:59:05 AM |

You could even get on the KBR job in southern turkey building an oil pipeline system making the same money as in Iraq. $13k per month plus an R&R every month or so is not a bad gig. 9/12/2005 12:34:44 PM |
