It's late, I'm bored, here you go. It may or may not work for you, ha. I know it only works for me in IE (dunno why it no workie in Firefox). Again it's late, if a problem I'll fix it tomorrow.

The Gauge.java of that link you posted is all you really need, you can look at the GaugeTest.java to see how to "plug-n-play" it. Oh, and remove the "import Gauge" line. Sometimes it causes errors. Bedtime and stuff...

Alright so i'm on another a computer and it doesn't work at all here. It would appear that it only works on a system that has the same version Java as the version that compiled it (now that I think about it, that's a durrrrrrr statement). My website is only going to work on pc's that have Java 1.5.0 installed.
Make the changes I noted then recompile in your own version. 9/15/2005 1:02:41 PM |

thanks for finding the source of the issue......since it will be shown at many WW events, i can't expect everyone to have the same java version on their computer...
i'm thinking of another approach, a slider that generates different images....in other words, refresh the gauges so it 'appears' as if the needle is moving...
so, i just need a simple slider function that reloads images as the slider is moved..any suggestions? 9/16/2005 4:08:57 PM |

link doesn't work....but my guess is that it's spam and irrelevant to this post, thus offering no value to solving my problem
