I've noticed that I get zero or minimal signal on my cell phone whenever I'm in a room that has wireless internet. Does anyone know?

cordless phone that operate on the 2.4ghz frequency are normally affected, but not cell phones, @ least not in my experience.

cell phones are 800-1900 MHz so wireless internet should not affect them

You don't get signal in EB I or EB II because of the building, not wireless.

I get reception in every class i have on cent. campus.

People who have Alltel get essentially no signal as soon as you get near EBI. Once you're inside, behind, or in EB2... there is no signal to be found... my phone kills itself in a single class period while searching for a signal.

I have a g network in my house and a 2.4ghz cordless...perfect functionality by both and no problems with my cell

I text message and get calls in class daily.

I do sit in the back of the large lecture halls , which may be one reason why but i have texts from karmel who sits in the front "come sit here".
