Interesting column:

I'm not saying I whole-heartedly subscribe to everything in this column. But it's unique. Few people have taken an even remotely similar approach towards the social causes and consequences of this disaster.

Well, a lot of the incidents he lists in his article, such as firing on helicopters, didn't actually happen. But overall he has a good point, even if his facts are old/outdated.

Well, the news-guy went on TV and said the reports he had reported the week before turned out to be unfounded because no one could not find a single pilot claiming to have been shot at, or a single victim claiming to have been raped, and he was very sorry for the mistake he made when he reported such rumors.

Of course, he could have been lying, I'm sure someone here can find an interview with a pilot from the internet, right?

I actually saw the speech that had this quote in it, and I felt a little better about the way things were being handled afterwards... It made me feel like maybe there is a working master plan and things are going to really improve soon. Only time will tell, hmm?
