Why is it every time their is a movie about ancient egypt , the egyptians are usually brown skinned or white! Like it or not their were egyptians that were black! A whole new generation of immigrants invaded egypt later in the 20th century. King Tut was black ! Greeks who even who traveled to Egypt before Alexander the Great took over even identifyed the natives as darked-skinned. Now Ancient Egypt did have a diverse populations of both brown-skinned and black skinned peoples that inhabitated the Upper and lower parts of Egypts. All I want is an accurate portrayal of all the inhabitants of ancient Egypt .

there is a large scale project underway with IBM Life Sciences and National Geographic, to try an map the migration patterns of humans. they're taking genetic samples from people all over the place, and using the human genome, are going to map how genes traveled. there are other initiatives of a similar nature underway , to try and figure out which populations are related to each other.

such studies, combined with archaeological and linguisitic data will give us a better picture of who did what. until then (then ~ a decade or less), we risk sounding like complete morons when we make blanket assertions such as this.

Africans are not all black.

people that live north of the sahara desert are caucasian and people that live south of the sahara desert are black. they didnt mix much (maybe a little bit of trade) because of the sahara desert.
so north africans where mostly mixing with people of the mediterraniean.

as far as an ancient egyption kingdom. which was made of Upper Egypt (modern day sudan) and lower egypt (modern day egypt)

Arab is not a race, although most arabs are caucasians:arabs egyptions are caucasians you have arab sudanese which are mostly black (negroid).

alot of modern day palestinians/lebanese/syrians look pritty close to white people. so i would assume ancient jews looked like that. With immigration and intermixing with white people of europe, i guess they bacame more and more european looking.

I only said that a good chunk of the Ancient egyptians were black!
