Ive seen nothing about a DVD set with a red stapler...I think that was just someones idea of what would be cool. There is a "with flair" edition on Amazon, but it looks to be exactly the same and is $13.99. Heres the specs from DVD Answers. http://www.dvdanswers.com/index.php?r=0&s=1&p=info&c=7353&t=4369&g=viewthread&n=1&n2=3&k=Office+Space
Quote : | "Fox Home Entertainment has today revealed details on the extra material for the long awaited special edition of Office Space which stars the likes of Ron Livingston, Jennifer Aniston and Ajay Naidu. The disc will be available to own from the 1st November this year, and should retail at around $19.98. The disc will carry a new 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 track. Extras will include an Out of the Office: Office Space Retrospective with Mike Judge, deleted scenes (Peter Lies to Lumbergh, Happy Hour and Chotchkies, Peter Goes off on Nina, & Tom's Mixed Heritage Called into Question), the theatrical trailer, DVD-ROM audio, and some visual downloads. The artwork is attached: " |

from the best buy website [quote]Special Features: - Fullscreen Feature/Widescreen Feature - Out of the Office: An Office Space Retrospective with Mike Judge - Deleted Scenes: Peter Lies to Lumbergh, Happy Hour and Chotchkies, Peter Goes off on Nina, and Tom's Mixed Heritage Called into Question - Thearical Trailer - DVD-ROM audio - Visual downloads: Stapler, Mousepad, Coffee Mug, Magnet picture frame, Notepad, and Pen/Pencil
they are "visual downloads", not actual staplers and whatnot 9/22/2005 8:56:26 PM |

i think "visual downloads" is supposed to be a funny way of saying "comes with: Stapler, Mousepad, Coffee Mug, Magnet picture frame, Notepad, and Pen/Pencil". it fits with the movie.
so you should get actual staplers and whatnot 9/22/2005 9:33:41 PM |

BTTT, Comes out Tuesday. However, I saw the SE (minus the extra fluff, which is only available at Best Buy apparently), in the Cary Wal-Mart today...plenty of copies.
Heres some specs on the Best Buy set with the extra crap from a post on DVDTalk
Quote : | "The dvd - Stapler -=- Not the real deal , but not that bad of a stapler it looks. - Mousepad - With a bunch of office space - style design and stills - Coffee Mug - no... it is not what you all think it will be (innitech) but has Lumbergh on the front with his mug going "xxxxxxxxx" (can't read it on the back of the box) - Magnet picture frame - Post-it designs on it. Looks about 4x6 or 5x7 - Notepad - TPS reports it looked like - Pen/Pencil - Bic - style " |
If anything, Ill probably end up buying the regular SE and if I really need a red stapler, Ill find a real one somewhere.
