i mean if you dont consider that their first cd was recorded in 1994 and part of it written in 1993 then sure

but i guess you know better

well if you consider NONE of their songs came out in the early 90s, then i guess I do.

3 of daves songs under the name of foo fighters were available in 1994.
FF demos with a FULL band were available in 1994
their entire first cd was available in 1995

and i know youre gonna be picky say thats not "early" 90s now, but i can be picky too and point out that you said foo figthers werent together in the early 90s and i would consider 1994 to be early 90s for sure.

plus plenty of the other songs listed in here came out in 93 and 94

i'm not a big foo fighters fan. BUT i've just done a little bit of reading and yes you are correct. dave groehl made 100 copies of a demo of himself playing "foo fighters" songs. i'm being more picky about the fact that the songs weren't released to any reasonable amount of people until 1995, thus making it not early 90s. i mean, maybe you were one of dave groehl's friends when you were 11, i dont' know.

nah the first cd i owned personally ws the first foo fighters which i did purchase in 1995. but since then ive gotten the old stuff

no hard feelings tho i just get picky myself, especially when it comes to music i like
and when i have nothing better to do than be on tww

the first time i heard Dave Grohl demo's was on Pearl Jam's "Self Pollution" pirate radio broadcast...i taped them offa a station in Richmond that had picked up the satellite feed

Quote :
"And uh, this is another rare...well, this is a rare opportunity to play this stuff to ya. It's two songs by Dave Grohl. As far as I know, he's played everything on these songs. He's playing all the instruments. He played it to me a while back. We ended up recording a song or two with Mike Watt. And uh, we might give speaker phone calls, and I think we might make a couple calls out before we take any in. And uh, I think we're gonna try to call Watt down in Pedro and, uh, I'm gonna just let these Dave Grohl songs fly. They're just...they're really good."
