I tell you what, Wisconsin should be everything that we hope to be as a football program

They get good kids, and recruit well locally
They have one of the best home atmospheres in the college game
They have the most loyal fans around
They always come to play
They always play tough at home
Then never make stupid mistakes, and always play smart

Things you would never see from a State Player

Calhoun trucked the Michigan Linebacker, with 7 minutes to go in the 4th quarter, tough, hard fought game, and he helped the guy up, and smacked him on the helmet

I mean really, they don't talk too much shit, they play hard, they are always ranked, close to being ranked, have a chance at the rose bowl....they are just a really impressive program all around and I would give my left nut for NCSU to be like that, instead of the low rent group of individual thugs that we currently call "our team"

and reviving this one was a nice touch, was going to get around to it as soon as i regained sobriety


lets take a look at the checklist shall we?
- Win Out (one step closer)
- Wisconsin needs to lose twice
- Penn St. needs to lose once
- Minnesota needs to lose once (check!)

it sounds impossible, but lets not take the big ten for granted. Wisconsin still has Penn St. and Iowa. If they lose those, and Penn St. falters at Michigan St, you might have undisputed Maize and Blue conference champs after the UM-OSU game.

I know its a Michigan fan's pipedream, and we'll probably see the conference winner after the Badgers/Lions face off next week, but I had to put it out there, so i look even more cool if it ends up happening.

Penn State will beat Wisconsin in Happy Valley. I have no doubt about that. It gets a bit dicey at MSU though. If Stanton is on he is tough to beat. If the PSU defense can get him rattled they should be able to win that one too...
