I have these books on CD that I want to put on my iPod, when I do it it just puts them as music tracks under the music section of the iPod with each chapter being a seperate track. I want them under audiobooks but can't figure out how to tell iTunes that this is an audiobook rather than a music CD, anyone know how to do this?

Thats not what I'm talking about, there's already a section called "audiobooks" in the iPod main menu, the difference between things stored under "audiobooks" and normal tracks being that it keeps a bookmark of where you stop when you stop listening to an audiobook...but anyway, I got it taken care of, you have to import it in AAC format and change the extension on the track from .m4a to .m4b

Probably can't do it. The audiobook section is for audiobooks downloaded from iTunes. They are special because it tracks your progress.

You need to change the file type to .m4b instead of .m4a, basically you just rename the end part of music file and it will change to a bookmarkable file which will go in the audiobook section of your ipod.

There is a lot of info about this in the forums of http://www.ilounge.com

Those things are better used as bullet vests.

protective cover like thin plastic membrane, most likely. still very nano after that has been applied.

[Edited on October 3, 2005 at 3:47 PM. Reason : thin /= thing]
