All of a sudden I can't use Firefox on my computer. I open it, and my homepage loads. Then I get the dreaded message

Internet Explorer still works, but I prefer Firefox.
I know this isn't a lot of information to go off of, but I would appreciate any advice as to what the problem might be.

as usual, the steps are:
make sure firefox.exe process is killed in task manager
uninstall (your profile will be saved)
