I got NeoEraser to do mine without a chip and he did a great job, but now my roommate has one he needs done and I'm pretty sure NeoEraser isn't in Raleigh anymore so does anyone know of anyone else who does it around here?

You can probably do it yourself man, I've done two on 1.6 boxes and two on 1.0 boxes. Just read up on xbox-scene.com and you'll figure it all out.

I probably could, but doing it for the first time myself would require a lot of research that I don't care to do and a lot of tools (soldering iron) that I don't care to buy, not to mention the risk that I would screw it up being my first time trying it and all, I would rather just pay someone who's experienced at doing it

you can ship it to neoeraser, or take it to him in lumberton (that's what i did when i had a problem). the shipping was around $10 i believe...he comes to raleigh some though to see his friends...just talk to him if you want quality work...there are other good mod ppl on here, but he's done all my work
